about

‘How To Prepare’ is the new album from singer-songwriter Tim Dickinson, coming more than ten years after ‘A Little Bit of Darkness’. The album has been produced by Chris Hill (Jamie Cullum; Tom Hickox; Arch Birds) and was mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Alex Wharton. It features 11 bruised, melodic and deeply-felt originals, with guest performances from Justin Quinn (Bakehouse; The Teak Project; The Wealden), Jessie May Smart (Steeleye Span; Katie Melua; Sophie Ellis-Bextor) and Chris Hill. It has been part-funded by a very successful Kickstarter campaign and is set for release in mid-November 2017. ‘House’ was featured on BBC Introducing South. “...vocals that go some way to filling the void that Jeff Buckley left.” Q online; “…an amazing voice.” Janice Long, BBCR2
